THE FALL SUMMIT 2023
The Fall Summit is under a month away, on Sunday, August 13th, 2023, and we would love for you to be there for this important night of encouragement, unity, vision, and direction.
What - The Summit is our bi-annual equipping event for those serving in leadership at Grapevine's First. At The Summit you can snacks, drinks, updates from our Pastors and breakout groups with your specific ministry. Our goal is that this is a time of unity among our leadership, bringing encouragement, vision, and specific direction regarding our discipleship strategy.
Who - All Life Group and Ministry leaders are encouraged to join us! What if you are not currently serving in a ministry area here at FBC Grapevine? Then this is your opportunity to get connected! We would love for you to come and shadow a group in which you are interested in serving. Here are just some of the teams that will be there:
- Adult Life Group Leaders (including Senior Adults)
- Student Life Group Leaders (including Vine 5.6 and Wednesday nights)
- Kids Life Group Leaders (including Uproar, Kid Rally, NOWorship)
- First Impressions Team
- Next Steps Team
- Adult Worship Teams
- Media Team
- Missions Teams Leaders
- Women’s Ministry Team
- Men’s Ministry Team

Q: HOW MUCH IS THIS EVENT?
A: FREE! This is our opportunity to serve and thank you for serving our church and community. We want you to feel appreciated this night for all you do!
Q: CAN I BRING MY SPOUSE EVEN IF THEY DO NOT SERVE IN LEADERSHIP?
A: YES! If you have a spouse, then we want them to come. We know any ministry is always a team effort. So whether they have an official role or not, we want to acknowledge their part.
Q: IS THIS FOR ME?
A: If you are currently serving in one of our ministry teams OR if you would like to get plugged in with a ministry team in a leadership position, then this event is FOR YOU.
Q: WHERE DO I GO FOR BREAKOUT SESSION IF I AM APART OF MULTIPLE TEAMS?
A: We know that many people serve in multiple teams. If there are multiple breakout groups that you could be a part of, you get to choose which group breakout you believe to be the most advantageous. Please reach out to your team lead before making your decision to make sure they give you any vital information you may be missing.
Q: WHERE DO I GO FOR BREAKOUT SESSION IF I AM NOT CURRENLTY A PART OF A TEAM?
A: We are SO GLAD you are coming! When we dismiss to breakouts, you will have a chance to go “Shadow” a group of your choosing. At the end of the evening, there will be a form for you to fill out to let our team leads know to reach out and help you get connected!
Q: IS THERE SOMETHING FOR MIDDLESCHOOL/HIGHSCHOOLERS?
A: We encourage people of all ages to get connected and SERVE. If your middle schooler or high schooler is serving or wants to serve in a ministry team, then they are invited. If not, then we provide child care through 4th grade.

- 7:30pm Snacks and Refreshments in the Gym followed by updates from Pastor Doug
- 8:00pm Breakout Sessions
